Since the inception of oaklodgepost.com, our position has always been to provide a neutral ground for any available information concerning the Oak Lodge community. We have tried to give a wide array of viewpoints by using various Web site links and newspaper articles. However, it has now come to be realized that much of the information found in the related Web Sites is incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, and often outdated. For instance, the original Clear Water Plan was designed to handle all of the wastewater for Clackamas County over the next 20 years at an estimated cost of $349 million. It is now quite obvious that this figure was vastly underestimated, with current projections doubling or tripling the original amount. Oak Lodge Sanitary District, CCSD-1, and Tri-Cities are all currently involved in studies and planning, and it is our hope that new, more accurate information will be forthcoming. So, until accurate information becomes available, we will be removing all related Web site links.
